need to now how to make my kart fuction with the gas peddle

hello i have a model 1400 yerfdog funkart has a 6hp tecumeh
ohv engine on it i have the engine on the cart and i have the throttle cable hooked up right but my gas peddle still does not function right can somebody help me please

I have a 6hp ohv. I need to know the valve lash for the intake and the exhaust?

About "that" much on the intake and just a hair more on the exhaust.

Seriously, boys, try your owners manual or the Yellow Pages.
Find someone who sells or repairs your engines in your area because your questions are entirely too vague to be answered in this forum, sorry.

Set the exhaust cold at 2 RCHs. Set the intake cold at 1 RCH. Lock the throttle wide open and drive like AJ!
