I ran across a pretty good overview of TIA/EIA-222-G that is gong to be in force this year. The new structural standard for steel antenna towers and antenna supporting structures is going to make fastest-mile wind speed a design of the past. This appears to be a fairly new site, but it contains quite a lot of information about tower design, tower foundations, and construction.
