We are manufacturing a new patented framing square. It is photo chemically etched then blackened. Just looking for some good ideas to finish the 304 SS that will look the nicest, have the least glare and have a look of high quality "starrett" like finish. we are using scotch brite or timesavers now any ideas, all will be appreciated... New to this field info is key to providing premium product. Thanks

The phrase "... it will not rust ..." overstates the case a bit.
The phrase "... resists corrosion ..." is more factual.

Damn nice tool, regardless.

Talk to General Magnaplate about the finishes they can apply.
They'll do samples for free, but it takes forever; pay a little for expedited service.
