New NX 7.5 user needs to extract 3D model from print

I'm new to using NX and am trying to extract the 3D model from the print.

I normally use ProE but have been handed an NX model and am trying to open it in our new license of NX 7.5.

When I open the file in NX the print automatically opens but I can't get to the 3D model to export a subcomponent.

Go to the 'Start' menu at the left-side of the 'main' NX toolbar and select 'Modeling' from the drop-down list of Applications.
