I have a contact problem which involves completing an impact. I am new to dynamic explicit analysis and have set up my model. Can anyone provide me any advice on checking the analysis as it i running. I know that in Standard we are aiming to reach a converged solution and that equilibrium is reached at each increment. What checks can I look out for during the explicit analysis?
During my current run, the total step time is 0.6s and the stable time increments which is 2.4x10^-8s seem very small. Also are there any checks to be through the consideration of kinetic energies and total energies?
