Is anyone really putting sprinklers in new houses? As per, NFPA 101, paragraph 24.3.5.1

The building boom around my area is going like crazy and not one those houses have a sprinkler in it.

I am not aware of a jurisdiction in this area (west coast) that applies NFPA 101. It is not referenced by the I-Codes for the purpose you are describing...yet?

However, I will say that I am aware of jurisdictions requiring 13D or 13D+ (to achieve near-complete building coverage) for dwellings that do not have adequate fire flow or FD access.

thank for your input, I always forget that not everyone uses or has adopted the complete NFPA voulmes, as I must adhere to them all.
