Hi all,
I have a problem with a few 20 metre long suspended lighting tracks possibly baffling the sprinklers in a retail shop. The light assembly is 109mm high x 270mm wide and is suspended by thin wires. The bottom of the lighting is 380mm below the sprinkler deflectors. Would this be ok? I don't have a copy of the code just now, however will purchase one soon. What clauses would this come under. From some years ago I vaguely remember nfpa had quite good info on esfr suspended obstructions but was lacking a bit on standard spray sprinkler obstructions in that it assumed the obstruction was a solid vertical to the ceiling.
Thanks in advance for any advice
