Hi all,

I am doing a hydraulic calculation for a 1-2 family house in NYC. It is a residential building, lizard hazard and I am using 2007 NFPA 13R to do a hydraulic calculation. NFPA 13D suggests to do a hydraulic calculation for 2 most remote sprinklers. My concern is I have an open floor plan where I have at least 10 sprinklers. It does not have any walls/rooms separating the sprinklers. Do I use the density method suggested in 2007 NFPA 13 by using 1500 square feet, where it would take into account all 10 sprinkler heads or just pick 2 sprinklers, most remote, on the floor?

Thank you for your help.
