Two questions:
1. Does the following clause mean that my 60'dia on-grade tank does not require a heater?
"15.2.2.1 Suction tanks, standpipes, and elevated tanks that have risers of 0.91 m (3 ft) or more in diameter shall not be required to have provision for heat."
2. If I still need a heater - Under NFPA 22, is it possible to use an immersion type electric tank heater? Code looks like a circulating unit is required - or alternatively can I gravity flow the bottom of the tank to the top through the heater?
Thanks in advance.
Glen
