I have a Group III Hangar that has been released by the SFM; however, the Cautionary Code Report lists NFPA 409 8.1.5 which states:
"A minimum 15cm (6in.) high curbing shall be provided between each aircraft storage and servicing area to prevent the flow of liquid from one space to adjacent spaces."
Does this mean that we have to provide a 6" curb in the hangar? There will be (2) planes that will contain more fuel than 0.5% of the tank capacity (therefore, fueled). Building is NOT to be used for refueling and/or maintenance.
