How is the building limit(weight) calculated for the maximum storage of chemicals in buildings? For example, I am designing a structure to house a Class 2 oxidizer. It appears that the maximum building limit in a non sprinkled area is 9000 lbs. For an aqueous solution is this limit calculated by the weight of the solution or the weight of the solute in dry form?

Oxidizers are always calculated based on their wieght, not by their volume under NFPA 430.
