I am not familiar to NFPA 820 but I just found that the storm water pumping station wet well requires "CGD" if it is enclosed (Table 4.2).

I have not seen CGD in "storm" water pump station but is it a "NEW" requirement?

If it is a new requirement, is there any good product to recommend for the storm water pump station?

Any information would be very helpful for my storm pump station design.

Have a wonderful day! Thanks-

CGD means "Combustible Gas Detection" system.

I thought that this requirement for storm drain system is not needed since it's different from Wastewater System which produces flammable gases.

As far as I know table 4.2 refers to wastewater collection systems (inclduing PS) and not "storm" water. Anyway I will take another look at 820 when I am back at work.
