NFPA Water Delivery Time Requirement

Hi everyone,

I would like to check on the water delivery time requirement for the Pre Action system as required by the NFPA Code. May I know how you guys are calculating the delivery time other than SprinkCAD software?

Is it acceptable if I conduct CFD on the water behaviour over time to analyse the water delivery time to the furthest point.

Any help is much appreciated.

Either field test or Tyco FDT is the only way to do the analysis as I understand it.
