NFPA2001 GAS SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

Hello. I've got a question here. In accordance with the NFPA requirements, is it necessary for a gas fire extinguishing system to be furnished with a manual/automatic switching device? And does the sole manual release （Electrical Manual Release and Mechanical Manual Release）method fulfill the NFPA requirements?

Thank you very much for your reply. My owner has installed a set of FM200 in the control room. Since there are always people in the control room, they are worried that the automatic spraying might harm the personnel. Therefore, they want to install a manual/automatic switching device. As far as I know, it seems that no project has ever done this before.
