Greetings!
I would appreciate some help in this question:
How much Ni200 coils (used in electronic cigarettes as a vapor production source) is safe about health?
I know tgat this subject may not be proper for this place but i would be grateful if you could share your opinions with me.
-Some more info.-
Nowadays a new trend in vaping community us to use Ni200 coils, with a little cotton soaking with e-liquid in them,in order to product vapor. These coils are meant to be used only with specific devices, which can measure the temperature of the Ni200 coil (range between 200-600 F) adjusting the given watts.I have read about the Ni200 combustion limit (about 2000 F) and the essential conditions in order to produce carbon dioxide.
I would appreciate any response.
Than you in advance.
-sorry for my english-

There are cases that could result in the release of Ni. If the person was sensitive to Ni this could be bad.
I presume that these coils are per-conditioned by heating in air for some period of time before use. This would form a nice uniform Ni oxide layer. Since These will be be wet when in use the oxide should eventually have a greenish tint.
Now for the caution, make sure that you never use an acidic liquid. This can break down the Ni Oxide and could result in the release of Ni.
I am not sure that this is an issue at these low temperatures, but it is possible.
Ni sensitivity is not rare. In the US few men are sensitive, but a fair % of women are (from wearing Ni platted jewelry as a child). And the degree of sensitivity varies. In the EU at least 25% of women are Ni sensitive.
