Nickel-Silver contamination

We have observed 'blackspot' contamination on a nickel-silver alloy (see images in attached spreadsheet).

We are assured by our suppliers that the contamination cannot be easily removed by solvent and/or abrasion. Our supplier has also informed us that the contamination was present on the roll of raw material prior to any fabrication process they undertook.

Does anyone know what this contaminaton may be and whether it wil affect the material properties of the nickel-silver alloy? The alloy is used to make battery tracks for two-way radios.

It should have a Picture (JPG) not Excel

Take it to your local met lab that has an SEM.
I doubt that it is serious, but you can't know until you look at it.
You need to have words with your supplier. You also need to work on your specification. You should have been notified of this before parts were made.
