No clean flux for reworks ??

Any suggestions on a good type of no clean flux to be used for reworks?

Currently been using Qualitek 302, but it still ends up leaving lots of solder bridges when changing pin thru parts on solder fountain. Advantage is, its not sticky.

The other type I have is GC Electronics, VERY good stuff, but its also VERY sticky/tacky, and pretty much unacceptable when used in large quantities.

Any other non-sticky types I should try? I know Kester used to (or maybe still does) make some good stuff, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Except it left like a white crust on the board after going over a solder pot. Didn't hurt anything, and came off with a static free brush.

Oh well, any suggestions please.

AIM makes such fluxes too. Dunno if you can get these in your area. In Montreal I can get the 291AX, the 264-5, the 713N at Accessotronik. About $15 cdn for a 1-liter bottle.

In addition to some affinities between fluxes and some solder masks, white deposits may also happen when two different types of fluxes (like no-clean and water-soluble) meet together and the board isn't cleaned quickly.
