It appears that Spectrum Software has come to an end. Unlike many companies they seem to have chosen to make their software available for no cost. They have been in business for a long time.

I'm not a user of electrical package software so I cannot vouch for whether it will suit anyone's needs, but the price is right. Also I cannot vouch for how long it will be available for download; the site says they will provide help for 30 days from approximately -now-. I don't expect the website to remain up forever; one year would be a surprise.

Website side-bar says "News: Effective 7/4/2019, Spectrum Software is closed. Micro-Cap is now free"
So I think the clock started several months ago on its disappearance. Check the URL registration expiry date on a Whois search.

Been using it for years without issue. I am not really good at using it, because I am a mechanical guy just use it when I need to make a schematic for our shop.
