no results could be found for xy data extraction from path

Respected fellows,
I am stuck in a problem, please help me. I was doing a grid independency test of my Laser shock peening simulation. and I am using Abaqus quite a while.

the problem is I am getting an error message stating that "No results could be found for xy data extraction from path". I can understand that the path is not lying on the deformed or undeformed model. but the same path intersects with mesh for bigger mesh size but it leaves few meshes. as I increase the mesh size it intersects perfectly and gives desirable results.

when I check with probe there are vales, and I tried making paths by selecting nodes and creating node path hence the path definitely goes through nodes and but even though I am getting the same error message. but if I use edge path I am getting results but I wan results in between as I have shown in the attached figure.

Please help me, I am begging to all of you. For your help, I will be very grateful to all of you.

[FEA way]

If you select nodes instead of points (for example start from node placed below the current starting point), mark "Include intersections", try with both Deformed and Undeformed model and make sure that all settings are correct (step, frame etc.) then it should work. If not, there might be some error. Currently it looks like the path was on a different plane (or otherwise not on the mesh) since intersections are on and yet no elements are marked around the path.
Try also defining path in a different location and see if it works.
