nodal results on mid side nodes

Hello All,

Thanks everyone for quick response.In most cases maximum deflection or stress occurring on the mid side nodes.
Do I need to report them all the time or Is there any other way to report?

Do you have some specific model in mind or is this a general question regarding various cases ?

Generally, displacements are calculated at midside nodes directly, in the same way as in case of corner nodes. However stresses are extrapolated from integration points to corner nodes and values at midside nodes are obtained as simple average between associated corner nodes.
