To turn on the node number in viewer, in Version 6.6. the icon under Module called common option> labels tab> show node label.

I used also this very uncomfortable mode. Does anybody know an option to plot the nodes without numbering?

Hi

In Viewer, go to "Options > Common" and select the "Labels" tab. Check "Show Node Symbols". This will then plot the requsted symbol at each node.

Any other idea? How can I switch on during the mesh or load definition?

Ahh, you meant in CAE?

Just had a look and I can't see any way of showing the node labels during meshing.

Maybe you could try speaking ABAQUS?

In CAE, I don't think it is possible as it is not designed to.

To see the node/element labels in modules , other than CAE->Visualisation go to
CAE->Menu->View->Assembly Display Options->"Mesh" tab.

Yes there is.

View - Part Display Options - go to the Mesh tab and check the box "Show Node Labels"

I think the point is that you can plot the node numbers in CAE, but you can't plot the node symbols, even though you can plot node symbols in Viewer.

Yes! That is my feeling also!
