Nodes Disconnectivity

Hi,

I have a problem in modelling "nodes disconnectivity" (don't know how to call it). By this term I mean a line, which disconnect the nodes from each other, like the red line in the attached picture.

I would like to solve eigenvalue problem with a crack which is just a disconnection between few nodes. The problem is I don't know how to disconnect correctly this nodes.
