Hello,

I need your help. I have a problem with identification of polypropylene samples of chips. I have four samples of PP, specifically: PPH 3060; PPH 4060; PPH 7069 (homopolymer) and MR 2002 (metallocene polypropylene). My general problem is that I don´t know what the number after abbreviation (PPH; MR) means????? I have tried to find som information about it but I can´t find anything. I measured MFR of these four samples, but I can´t compare and evaluate these results because I don´t know a difference between these types of polypropylene. If anybody have experience or knowledge with these types of polypropylene please give me some information that could help me.

Than you for your answers

They are probably manufacturer designated codes for specific grades that may vary by MW or additive package or level of PE in the PP if it's co-polymer.

You will need to contact the manufacturer
