What is the non-auto MCCB? and what is the difference between it & the isolator?
If it is put as a main incoming to a SMDB (which in turns feeds multi DBs), & the SMDB itself is fed from an MDB (which is fed from the transformer); does the discrimination is guaranteed??

A non-auto MCCB is a moulded case switch. It has no protection capability, but it is rated for fault making duty. Not all disconnectors are fault-rated; some are capable of switching load current, while others are off-load only.

Discrimination depends on many factors, none of which you have stated, but a switch has no effect on discrimination.
