Non-CFC Split SystemS Availability

Dear friends:

Do you know factories as Carrier, Trane, York, etc, manufacturing split equipment working with refrigerant different to R-22, R-12 or any CFC , in nominal capacities from 3.00 to 15.00 TR?

They all do R-410A (an HFC) packaged units now, but I don't think that any of the big three are doing split systems in the new stuff yet.

You can also specify R-407C which is a drop-in replacement for R-22. All the major companies offer it. One warning though, there is an efficiency penalty to pay. An R-407C system will be less efficient that an identical R-22 system.
 
One note, no one in the US makes equipment with R12 anymore, it was phased out years ago. New equipment is R22, R134a, and others that were mentioned above.
