I'm creating a solid in V5r9 from an existing Iges wireframe/surface model. Due to the complexity of the original surface (not all of which I need in the solid) I am creating new sufaces using sections of the existing wireframe.

When I try to join some line/curve elements I get 'non-connex' errors. Could someone give me a plain English explanation as to what a 'non-connex' error means (I can guess something's not connected :-)) and a procedure for trouble-shooting these errors.

Ben

Yes, it means that they aren't connected.

For one, you could just click the box that says "Check Connectivity," or increase your point tolerance.

That's not a good fix, though.

Use Connect Curve to fill in the gaps.
