I have designed a slab supported by both columns and two shear walls. I have used joint restraints to model the columns but I am unsure of how to format the shear wall support. The area has been drawn and I constrained the points on the area but am unsure of what do to next.

To simplify life, you can model the shear wall as just a series of joint restraints too. The total length over which restraints are modelled should be close to the actual width of the shear wall.

But what do you mean by joint restraint? Are you going to fix them or hinge them. I would hinge at the column but fix at the shearwall and would provide top slab reinforcement through the shearwall. Or model all restraints as hinges and then still provide some top reinforcement through the shearwall.

Some good judgement is required on this issue.
