non-slipping surface for bridge

In my plan we have vehicles bridges made of steel. When they get wet they become slippery and dangerous for cars.
Is there a standart rough metal plate that can be welded to the existing plates, so the bridge is being treated with minimum closure time?

An expanded metal (steel) could be used, preferably flattened and galvanised. A problem could be the trapping of dirt etc. within the grating. <

The only 'metal; bridge decks I have seen are an open web. they require constant attention. Not worth thr risks involved.
