Hello,
I modelled a bullet as a rigid element and requested its velocity from the history output. Even though the simulation went good, why did I have such a rough graph?
Thank you so much!

I assume that it’s explicit dynamics analysis. Such noise is normal, it’s called aliasing. Acceleration and (reaction) force output is particularly susceptible to that. But you can just use filtering to get rid of this. Go to Create XY Data —> Operate on XY data and choose a filter from the list of operators. Specify the parameters and plot the results.

Thank you so much for the response. What filter would you recommend if I were to choose from the list? I have not done it before.
Thank you so much!

I would recommend the simplest one - Butterworth but you can easily test the other ones as well and see which filter gives the best results.
