Hi,

I am having a big trouble with nonlin buckling analyse. I need to use two load steps. in the first one a dead load is apllied, in the second live load is apllied. when I examine the results in /post26 I can see a discontinuity in curve in time relative to end of first load step. So I tried to aplly only live load. First I apllied full live load in one loadstep with 40 substeps. Then I see in /post26 that this curve is continous. Secondly I apllied a live load in 2 loadsteps (each a half of live load value with 20 substeps). Then I see in /post26 that this curve is discontinous. What is wrong ? I use LSWRITE and LSSOLVE commands.

Hi,

I have realized that there was some disorder with named parameters when I apllied only live load in two steps. Now it is correct - curve is continous. I also realized that if I aplly dead load in one step on entire model in first load step and then live load only on a part of the model in second load step, curve must be always discontinous. Apllied load must be consistent with time, but it is not possilbe if live load act only on one part of model...

sorry for bother you with this stupid question.

Lubo
