Hey guys,
I am trying to define a nonlinear spring1, but I am not sure about something:
Is Abaqus interpolating the points I input in my deck, defining the nonlinear rotational spring1? Because I can have a particular value for rotation after analysis, which was not set in my deck. In this case, more lines defined, the merrier (I guess).
For small angles (rotations of my element, whose 1st node is connected to the ground), I need a very small stiffness. For larger angles I need greater stiffness.
Does anyone have any experience on this?
Cheers...
