Can someone explain the difference between the following outputs.
Projection available outside vessel, Lpr and Projection available outside vessel to flange face, Lf.
I know it is a dumb question but I just cant seem to figure it out.
Thanks in advance. have a great day ahead

Lf is the length from the outside of the shell to the flange face.

Lpr is the length from the outside of the shell to the end of the nozzle neck.
If you have a weld neck flange, that point is where the hub of the flange begins.
If you have a slip on flange, the nozzle extends about halfway into the flange so that is what the nozzle neck ends.
