Hi,
if possible, can someone explain how the pour point can be an indicator of normal paraffins and how to predict normal paraffin rate from pour point ?
Best Regards.

For which crude distillation column (CDU) distillate cut do you need this correlation for, or is it for whole crude ?

Hi Georgeverghese,
It's for kerosene cut from C10- to C14+
where can i find correlations?
Best regards.

I dont see a direct quantification of paraffin content from pour point in my Petroleum Refining Handbook by Gary and Handwerk. The closest I see is a few lines on the directional link between the Correlation Index (CI) for the straight run fraction and paraffin content on page 26 of this book.
You may also look for this in the new edition of the API Technical DataBook.
