A Norsok M650 qualification test record holds a scope (qualification of process) and the tested and qualified thickness and weight.
In some cases a range of qualifcation is also given but in most cases this range is missing.
Can anybody inform me about the criteria that is applicable to determine this range?
In some cases I see a qtr for A182-F51(22%Cr) forging tested thickness 120mm. Does this mean that forging up to this thickness are covered by this qtr? Looks plausible to me but how is this range for tubes, plate etc.? Where can I find anything about this issue? Recently I recieved a qtr for plate 40mm. Can I use it for plate with 20mm of thickness? In this matter I do not consider the involvement of the qualifying company in this exact matter.
