not getting solid when coverting STEP file

Hi we have a STEP file from costumer. When we open it in NX, It is importing as solid. But When we open in Catia, it is importing as sheet body with some openings. Is there a way or setting in catia to get solid when I open STEP file? Thanks in advance

Did you already check your settings in Tools > Options > General > Compatibility > STEP ?

This may happen. This is a translation issue. Open stp in NX and then export/save as stp again. I come thru this issue when i get some complex 3D that comes from Solidworks.
