Note Type Parameter help..

I have my startparts setup with the x,y,z dims relationed to parameters dx,dy,dz. Then a note in the model tree that references them (&dz X &dx X &dy). Then I have a NOTE type (not a string type) parameter (description) that references that note. This works fine for my drawing file BOM table but does not work in the assy mode BOM feature. My bom.fmt uses %description[-40] to try and reference the value I need, but that seems to only work on string type parameters and will not retreive the note type parameter info. Is there something I need to add to it to pull in the note type parameter info?

Also, is there a way in the bom.fmt file to sort the listings by one of the parameters instead of being listed in the same order they are shown in the model tree?
