I believe that by convention NOx concentrations are reported as mg of NO2 per dry standard cubic meter or foot of flue gas. I also think this is reported "without dilution". Could someone confirm my very shaky understanding of this and clarify what without dilution means.

Also, is there any sort of definition of what is meant by a Low NOx burner compared to an Ultra Low NOx burner. What are the expected NOx cenentrations from each?

If you are talking about NOx emissions from boilers, the convention is to report in parts per million volumetric, dry basis, corrected to 3% oxygen; Sometimes lbs per million BTU is used.
Low-NOx means, normally, 30 ppm when firing natural gas, and ultra-low NOx means 9 ppm.
 
Working with CFBs all I ever see is ppm and lb/mmBtu for NOx emissions.

I've never heard that ultra-low NOx was 9ppm, I don't think I've ever seen anyone that low anyways.

Lowest I've seen was 174 ppm and that equated to 0.18 lb/mmBtu

Now that I re-read MDs post, I think I misunderstood and he meant 30ppm for Low NOx and 9ppm for ULN
