Hi All,
I have been asked by stress engineer (Piping), if the pressure vessel nozzle is capable of withstanding the reaction load from the Burst of rupture disk (Rupture disk is placed on the vessel nozzle, in between piping and vessel mating flanges).
I have never seen such load being accounted as Nozzle loads and vessel nozzle shall be designed for it.
Please share if anyone having similar experience.
