I am developing a small pressure vessel that must comply with PD 5500 Cat I or BS EN13445. The media is anhydrous ammonia vapor. There is BS EN 12952 for ammonia storage tanks that require nozzles to be a minimum of DN50.
My question is: does PD 5500 Cat I or BS EN13445 also require a minimum DN 50 nozzle?
Some basic data is:
dia = 3 ft
L (S-S) = 4 ft
design pressure = 350 psig
design temperature = 250 degF
material = SS316L
media: anhydrous ammonia vapor
