NPT thread in weldment?

Is there a way to add a NPT style thread feature to a hole in a weldment? The thread feature does not seem to be an option under the machining section of the weldment and NPT is not listed under the hole feature. BTW, I currently am still on v8.0 but should be upgrading to v10 once my software arrives.
