NPT Thread Metric Equivalent 1

One of our parts has a jacking point with a 1/8"NPT threaded hole. It is meant for a 1/8"NPT fitting attached to a hydraulic line and then a pump. We're looking for a common metric equivalent to this hole/fitting that can handle the same pressure as the NPT fitting. Thanks.

You need an adapter from NPT to metric. You will not find a metric screwing which fits into an NPT thread - if this answers your question.
 
Oops I meant to say that we are making a new part and will drill and tap this hole new. Sorry 'bout that.

O.k. then I suggest a G 1/8" counter thread acc. to ISO 228. But you need a seal ring to get it tight as ISO 228 threads are not self sealed threads.
