HI dears ;
AS far as I know about meshing for shells there are rules governing meshing or drawing areas:
a. Shall connect the corner of area to columns or shear walls otherwise incompatibility problem will arise.
b. Shall not have a distorted shape( internal angles between 45 and 135).
c. Shall not have high aspect ratio (Length to width between 1 and 4 but not more than 10.
The question now : When I draw NULL (NONE)area element, Shall the above points be achieved? especially shall the corner of NULL area be drawn on the column joint otherwise it will impose bad results ?
