I am working on a large park project that receives approximately 4000 visitors per day. I have assumptions to determine how many times people will use the restroom and/or visits per day. However, would someone shed some light as to what the proper number of restroom stalls would be to have for such volume of people? I'm not too familiar with the plumbing code (CPC 2007 or others) except for areas pertaining to pipe/service sizing but is there a section pertaining to the minimum amount of stalls/facilties? Thanks.

Currently the United States does not have authoritative comprehensive availability toilet facilities requirements for public areas out side of buildings. Reference this guideline for details:

Thank you Bimr...greatly appreciated!

While it may not be authoritative, I would recommend using the International Building Code, Table 2902.1 for occupancy A-5 which includes stadiums, amusement parks, bleachers, and grandstands for outdoor sporting events and activities.

It gives minimum fixutres for this type of use.
