I have a datum symbol that is placed on a line at an angle on a drawing. If I create the symbol with the origin set to Associative Alignment, the text is parallel to the line, which I don't want. If I create the symbol with the origin alignment turned off, the text is horizontal - which I do want. After I exit the dialog box, if I come back to edit the datum symbol, 'Associative' is turned on again. When I save, close and re-open the file the symbol is now showing the text parallel to the line.
So in essence, even though I am creating the symbol with alignment turned off, NX always turns it back on and re-orients the text. I'm guessing this is a bug, but would anyone know of a workaround?
Thanks,
Jeff
