NX 5 Plotter menu hanging

When I tried to plot from NX 5.0.1.4 it is hanging. I clicked on the advanced plot button, source is current display (should of been sheet 1), but the print and cancel buttons are greyed out. And when I click on the X to close the box, I get a communications busy error. Any suggestions? I haven't saved the drawing and don't want o lose my work.
