I am a new user to NX so this question may be easy, I hope.

We receive Native NX files from one of our customers that we sometimes need to modify, so I am working on models created by someone else.

The latest model that I modified has a Sew feature that I am getting and error on "Cannot Sew sheets into a solid" when I edit the feature it tells me that the body was created after the sew feature..??? how can this be when I am in the sew feature.

attached is a screen grab of the error.

Any help will be aprecieated.

If the edges of the sheet bodies lie within modeling tolerance, the sew function will create a solid body. It sounds like you have changed something so that it can no longer create a solid body out of the sheet bodies.

If you perform an 'examine geometry' (in the Analysis menu) and search for sheet boundaries it will highlight the sheet edges that cannot be joined.
