NX 64-Bit

I'm just testing Windows 7 64-Bit.

As far as I know (and I'm pretty sure I did, as I downloaded it specifically), I installed NX6 64-bit.

The NX log file tells me the OS version, but how can I actually tell that I'm running the 64-Bit version of NX6 ?

If you are running nx 64bit, program files should be placed in C:/program files/UGS/... in your PC.

If you are running nx 32bit on 64bit machine, program files should be placed in C:/program files (x86)/UGS/...

So open windows explorer and check where is ugs folder is placed.

True, that would have worked, but we don't use the default install path.

Actually where the syslog appears to be telling you what version of OS is running, that's actually the version of NX that's running. For example, if you are running a 32-bit version of NX on a 64-bit Windows system the syslog will report something like:

:- 32 bit software version

What this is indicating is that for the applications that's running, the OS is running it as a 32-bit version. If you're running the 64-bit version of NX it should read that it's a '64 bit software version'. That entry is simply indicating what mode the OS is running in so as to accommodate the application, in this case, NX.
