Is Join Face available in NX 7.5.......can't seem to find it, although my "Help" says it exists.

Thanks,

Have you tried the 'command finder'? (looks like a pair of binoculars in the standard toolbar)

OK, thanks.........now why did I have to tell NX 7.5 to "Show on Toolbar".......I mean, why wasn't the function there in the first place?? Why has it been hidden?

It might be due to the Role you chose when setting up NX. That can and will directly affect the menus and toolbars if you're not careful in choosing a proper Role.

Some people are like slinkies....they don't really have a purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

If we turned on ALL of the icons in all of the toolbars, you'd be left with a working screen area about the size of a credit card ;-)

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Six rows of icons really doesn't take up that much room. Roles are a cop-out for people that don't want to do the whole job.

Bigger screens I can get.....rearranging and hiding all my useful tools just irritates me ;-)

Having all your icons available and displayed helps a user familiarize himself with all the functions, and gets one to to use more than a "hammer, screwdriver, and pliers" all the time.

Perhaps I was exaggerating, but not by much (see attached image of NX 7.5 Modeling with all available toolbars and icons displayed at once).
