Hi,

We currently have a functioning NX7.0 License server in our environment. I am trying to install NX 7.5 on a workstation, but am getting a "NX REQUIRED THE ENVIRONMENTAL VARIABLE ugs_LICENSE_SERVER to be configured properly" error when starting NX 7.5. I have checked the environmant variable and it is correct. When I use the License Options, I can see and add our license Bundle.

Can NX 7.5 communicate with a 7.0 License Server properly?

Thanks

You will need to install the NX7.5 licence server (version4). This is version 4 of the licence sever, (Nothing to do with NX4).
If you try to start NX7.5 pointing to the NX7.0 licence server, there will probably be an entry in the NX log stating that that the server version is older than the client.

Version 7 software should still work against the version 7.5 license server and license file.
