I have attached a jgp of a what I have modeled in I-Deas on the right and the same tube I modeled in NX on the left. These two tubes meet on a compound angles. What would be the appropriate way to model the Blue Surface in NX. A fillet will not work becuase it goes all around the edge. When we used the CMM to import this part into NX this area failed. I have tried bridge curves and mesh of curves but I am not that strong in this area yet. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for that suggestion. I would like to get a bigger blened-surface in this area. More of a swoop or bigger fillet. These two Core features will be pulled in a die cast housing. Thanks again.

mmauldin solution is the idealized result. It provides the best possible topology. Anything larger in terms of the 'blend' face would have to be developed as some sort of lofted freeform face which would have to be fitted into the model as some sort of compromise solution.

Thanks for all the feedback. I will work on this later today and see which method will work out better. I think either one should do the job. Thanks again.

Interesting to see that other people than me cannot keep their fingers away...
Another solution provided here.
Sadly i had to subdivide the section curves ( tube / datumplane) and that killed the associativity. - The starting points of the curves did not match and i didn't have the power to play around with the "Alignment by Points method.
The Thru curves feature does not like if the sections become tangent to each other.
